She began her 12-year career at Bank of America, transitioning from the business side to technology after six years. Tiffany then moved to Walmart’s Global Data Technology organization, where she led portfolio strategy, Data Governance and the transformation to Agile and Product. She continued her career at Lowe’s, overseeing cyber-security strategy, data governance, GRC and communications, while also championing women in technology through BRG and Women in Tech leadership roles. As Senior Director at Tyson Foods, Tiffany led IT applications, business engagement, and S4 & Product transformation teams, co-chairing the Women's Business Resource Group and leading Tyson’s Women in Technology group. Currently, Tiffany is the Head of Data Governance at Compass Digital, where she drives the transformation of enterprise data governance. A passionate advocate for women, she is also the founder and president of Women in Technology of Northwest Arkansas, a National non-profit, with chapters expanded all over the US, dedicated to empowering women in tech. Tiffany is an author, speaker, and advocate for change, using her strong people skills to inspire growth and leadership.

Alexandra Williams is a dedicated Senior Account Executive with Optomi, contributing over three years to one of the fastest-growing IT Staffing Firms. At Optomi, the focus is on identifying the best IT talent to drive technology projects forward.
Born and raised in Fairfax, VA, Alexandra graduated from George Mason University before embarking on a journey that led to Charlotte, NC, where she currently resides in Mint Hill. Beyond her professional role at Optomi, Alexandra invests time in volunteering with our WiT community partners like Apparo and Fleurix, reflecting her commitment to giving back.
With a passion for technology and computers that has been a constant in her life, Alexandra considers herself fortunate that the challenges of COVID pushed her to make a rewarding transition into the tech industry. Sky Patterson-Baker is an Associate Software Engineer in the Lowe’s Launchpad Program, where she blends her background in finance with her passion for technology and innovation. Raised in Atlanta, Georgia, she attended North Carolina A&T State University, majoring in Finance. During her third year, she realized she felt stagnant in finance and began exploring new opportunities that aligned more closely with her curiosity and problem-solving mindset. She got her start in tech through a coding bootcamp and, after graduating, continued teaching herself the skills needed to transition into the industry. Along the way, she became involved with Women in Technology of Charlotte and remained committed to growing within the tech community, which ultimately led her to her current role at Lowe’s.
Outside of work, Sky enjoys building community and expressing her creativity. She started a book club that brings readers together for thoughtful discussions and connection, and she also enjoys making candles, a hobby that grew into a small business.

Lesly Luque is a beacon of inspiration, originating from Sinaloa, Mexico, and proudly representing the legacy of first-generation immigrants and college graduates. Arriving in Charlotte, NC at the tender age of 5 with her family, she embarked on a journey marked by resilience and determination. A distinguished alumna of an HBCU, Lesly played a pivotal role in establishing the inaugural Latina sorority chapter at her undergraduate institution.
With a career spanning seven years in the tech industry, Lesly has honed her skills across diverse roles, excelling as a Scrum Master, Quality Assurance Tester, and Business Analyst. Outside her professional endeavors, Lesly's impact extends far beyond as she holds a vital role on the Leadership Team for the Latinas in Tech Organization's North Carolina Chapter, which she helped co-found. Juggling various commitments, Lesly also revels in the joys of motherhood, recently embarked on her own entrepreneurial journey with the launch of a jewelry business, is a self-proclaimed foodie, loves iced coffee and country music. Born and raised in California, she charted a path into technology from a young age—choosing to attend a STEM-focused middle school and later pursuing a degree in Biology at Radford University. During her time at Radford, she served as President of the College of Science and Technology STEM Club, where she championed student-led initiatives bridging science, technology, and leadership.
Arielle's professional journey began in supply chain management, where she quickly established herself as a dynamic leader capable of transforming distribution and third-party logistic teams. Arielle now leads Vendor Operations & Technology in the Vendor Strategy Office at Compass Group USA, where she drives sourcing strategy, procurement innovation, and vendor performance at scale. Arielle is a passionate advocate for empowering women and young girls in technology, committed to creating inclusive opportunities and breaking down barriers in STEM fields. She actively champions mentorship, representation, and access to resources that help young women thrive in tech-driven careers.

Itzel Medina Garza is a Scrum Master for Lowe’s Home Improvement currently collaborating within the digital space to drive product teams toward maximizing value delivery. She has over 7 years of experience in technology and has contributed to technology teams within merchandising, loss prevention, international business and corporate services. Itzel is a first generation college graduate and holds a Bachelor's in Computer Science Information Systems with a minor in Bioinformatics from Johnson C. Smith University. She is always in pursuit of personal and professional growth and recently obtained a UX certificate from the University of Minnesota. Itzel was born in Mexico but has spent most of her life and currently resides in North Carolina. Outside of work, she finds joy in travel, attending concerts, playing board games, and spending quality time with family and friends. As a mother to two young girls, she wants to help foster a world where girls and women are empowered to thrive, break barriers and reshape the narrative in the tech industry.

Matt Burroughs is Chief Information Security Officer for Novolex, responsible for overseeing and implementing the company’s information security strategy to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of its data and systems. He has over 20 years of cybersecurity experience.Matt joined Novolex in 2022 from CNA where he served in a variety of roles, all within technology. He was most recently responsible for the department’s day to day operations. P
rior to that, Matt spent more than 12 years at SecureWorks working with leading global customers from each industry vertical. As a Sr. Consultant, Matt played a pivotal role in guiding customers through diverse business, technology, and cybersecurity issues. He oversaw the designing, constructing and executive of global cybersecurity programs.
Matt earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Coastal Carolina University. In 2023, Matt was recognized by CDO magazine “40 under 40 Security Leaders” as one of the world’s most influential and successful cybersecurity leaders under the age of 40.

Rochelle Rhodes is a Cybersecurity Specialist focused on Risk Management at Skanska where she assesses technical risks and coordinates with the business for remediation efforts.
A Charlotte native, she attended Queens University of Charlotte as a North Carolina Teaching Fellow and obtained a degree in English Literature and Secondary Education. In 2017, she transitioned to IT and has focused on customer service, incident response, policy creation, risk management, and security awareness training. She obtained her CRISC certification in 2023.In her free time, Rochelle is a voracious reader, spoils her two dogs, and spends quality time with her husband and friends.

Lexi Zupsansky is an Account Executive at Agility Partners and a rising professional in the tech industry. Although new to the field, she quickly discovered a genuine passion for technology and an immediate love for helping others succeed within it. She began her journey in a recruiting role and was soon promoted into account management, where she now partners closely with clients to understand their technology needs, build strong relationships, and connect them with the right talent to support their growth.
Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Lexi graduated from Ohio University in May 2025 with a bachelor's degree in Marketing and Sports Management before relocating to Charlotte that August. Outside of her work in tech, she is passionate about fitness and has experience as a fitness instructor — something she hopes to continue as she settles into the Charlotte community. She also enjoys long walks, coffee outings, and spending time with friends and family. Lexi is excited to join Women in Tech Charlotte and looks forward to building meaningful relationships and contributing to an uplifting, empowering community.

Lissa Frattaroli is a technology leader with over 20 years experience across Data & Artificial Intelligence (AI), ERP, Industry 4.0 and Infrastructure in the Aerospace & Defense, Manufacturing, Public, and Financial industries. She began her career at RMI Titanium (now Howmet Aerospace) supporting operations as a product manager in Ohio. After three years, she transitioned into Technology supporting the development of the new data technology solution. Lissa then joined an independent consulting firm assisting companies with their ERP and Data Warehouse implementations across the Public and Manufacturing sectors. After Lissa and her family moved to Charlotte, NC, she continued her career at Bank of America building and leading the global Business Intelligence organization. Currently, Lissa leads the Digital Technology Operations Data team for Collins Aerospace transforming how Technology and Business teams increase their speed to value and innovation. Lissa is a passionate advocate for mentoring, coaching, and sponsoring the next generation of technology leaders.

Tessa Shugarman is a recent graduate from UNC Charlotte with a degree in Computer Science and cybersecurity concentration, Tessa discovered her love for technology after transitioning from health sciences. Born and raised in Chicago, she never considered herself a "techy person" until college, making her journey into cybersecurity all the more empowering. Tessa thrives on the investigative side of security, with particular interests in penetration testing, threat hunting, and digital forensics.
Beyond her technical pursuits, Tessa is deeply committed to social justice and humanitarian rights, actively seeking involvement with humanitarian aid and climate justice organizations. Her passion for problem-solving extends from technology to community impact, driven by a genuine desire to help others and create positive change.
Outside of work, Tessa embraces the outdoors through hiking and camping, and enjoys combining these adventures with music and reading. As the Girls in Tech Membership and Recruitment Lead, she is motivated by a powerful mission: empowering young girls to believe they can do whatever they want and be whoever they want to be. Having forged her own unconventional path from health sciences to cybersecurity, Tessa serves as proof that there is no "set path", only the courage to explore and grow into who you're meant to become.

Brionna Miller is a communications leader and tech advocate passionate about bridging storytelling, strategy, and innovation. She currently serves as a Senior Channel Communications Specialist at Schneider Electric, leading communications internally and externally that reach over 2,000 partners.
Though she doesn’t come from a traditional tech background, Brionna began her journey in political science and international studies at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, later earning her MBA from Wake Forest and currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Global Leadership at Indiana Tech. Her experience spans AI, sales enablement, and marketing strategy, with roles at Juniper Networks and Toyota, and she previously taught English in South Korea. Brionna believes there’s no single path into technology, and that belief is exactly why she’s here. Beyond her career, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her poodle.

Erin Phillips is a dynamic professional who made the shift to information technology in 2021 after a successful career as a higher education financial aid regulatory and compliance auditor. Her background in audit and regulatory oversight provided a strong foundation in analysis, process improvement, and organizational governance — skills she now applies to her work in IT.
As an IT Technical Analyst at the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), Erin supports enterprise operations through end-user support, endpoint management, systems administration, and ServiceNow process optimization.
